Macrobiotic Chocolate Cake!

Here in Japan, St.Valentine's day is a special day for girls. This is the day that girls can confess to someone she likes by giving a chocolate. Why chocolate? Sorry, but I don't know. It was like this since I was little.

For couples, still, girls do something for her boyfriend/partner/husband (even for Dad). Good day for boys!

Well, there is another day called "White day", which is March 14th. On that day, boys give a present to girls (well, give and take, in a way!).

This custom is getting to be changed little by little, and now, lots of girls give chocolates to their female friends to show their appreciation for the friendship (a bit weird for me). Or, girls buy chocolate to indulge themselves. So, St.Valentine's day in Japan means Chocoholic day!

Anyway, Feburary 14th! I have to prepare something with chocolate to my boyfriend and to my Dad. Here is the one I backed! Macrobiotic Chocolate Cake!!! No refined sugar, so egg, no dairy products. Hope eveyryone can taste it through your eyes... Here you are, chocolate cake with a glass of aromatic whiskey!
